Donations.
During almost 30 years of research, I've traveled thousands of miles, and spent
thousands of hours (and dollars), researching and documenting our family's history.  The
totals would probably scare me to death.  I've cleaned graves and cemeteries, cleaned,
repaired and/or replaced grave markers, paid for thousands of copies of documents
from libraries and courthouses, all at my own expense.  I've never asked for any help or
donations, and I never will.  This is something I wanted to do for myself, and I've enjoyed
every minute of it.

As the years went by, however, and I learned more and more about our absolutely
wonderful family and extraordinary heritage, it became apparent that this was something
I had to do.  Something I had to finish.  Not just for me, but for the entire Ridgdill family
Our history had to be documented; our story had to be told.  The world had to know we
were here, and that we made a difference.  So, the research continues.

I'm not able to travel as far, or as often as I used to, and I have to ask my immediate
family for help with the many other things that need to be done, but the research still
continues.  Although, the rising cost of everything these days makes it a little harder than
it used to be.  Rising gasoline prices, the cost of genealogy subscriptions, supplies,
creating and maintaining the web site; but the research continues.

You probably think I sound like PBS setting you up to ask for a donation.  Believe me, I'm
not.  As I stated earlier, I've never asked for donations, and I never will.  The research will
continue, regardless.  On the other hand, my momma didn't raise no fool, either!  Any
help I receive lessens the burden of expense.  If you feel that researching and
documenting our family's history is worthwhile, and you would like to make a donation,
please feel free, but not obligated, to do so.  Any donation, however, will be greatly
appreciated.  As a means to say thank you, your name will be added to the Contributors
List on the Recognition page.

Donations can be mailed to the address at the bottom of the home page.  If making a
donation by credit card or PayPal would be easier, secure online Donations can be
made by clicking one of the buttons below.  Thank you.
